The Evolve Trust and its three academies, Brunts, Beech and Bramble have secured the national ‘Leading Aspect Award’ for Educational innovation. A team of people led by Michael Lucas – Head of Raising Achievement have made significant strides this year on enhancing the professional learning journeys for their staff, which has had a positive on our disadvantaged pupils both academically and pastorally.
Michael Lucas –Head of Raising Achievement said, “Supporting staff to work more effectively with parents and their children has improved attainment and achievement across the academies. It also highlights how the three academies are utilising the Pupil Premium (PP) funding to maximize the impact on our disadvantaged young people”
Opening doors to learning for all stakeholders sets out The Evolve Trusts’ approach for ‘Closing the Gap’ for pupils to achieve their potential and ultimately improve their life chances. It enables staff at all levels to access and contribute to a professional learning pathway.

All Academies within the Trust provide outstanding education by creating an inspiring, opportunity-rich learning environment for all. Five hundred and fifty-three children across the three academies have benefited from the professional learning journeys undertaken by staff and this innovative approach will be embedded throughout the academic year and beyond.
